Overview

The sewer lateral is the underground pipe that carries wastewater from the house to the public sewer. Problems like root intrusion, cracks, offset joints, and collapsed sections are out of sight and can be expensive to repair.

Focus 1 schedules the sewer lateral inspection with a carefully selected subcontractor for the same time as your home inspection when possible. The subcontractor runs a camera through the home’s main sewer line to look for defects and records video of the inside of the line.
